This one was horrific.

Date: Morning of 12-18-14

I say 'Morning of' because I woke up from the previous night with no recollection of a dream. My fiance was getting out of bed to take our dog outside (as well as clean up the kitchen and make me some breakfast, sweet, right?), which woke me up. I didn't think he would do all of that extra stuff, so I went back to sleep. Over the span of probably 30 minutes, give or take, I had perhaps the worst dream (to me) ever.

Some real life back story: I had a jack russel terrier named Keewii who I loved ever so dearly. She was young, but sweet and had a beautiful chocolate and white coat. When I moved away from my parents' house, I was going to take her with me, but she showed obvious signs of sickness at the new place (like throwing up and not eating). So, I figured she would be much happier back at my parents' on the farm with the rest of the dogs, who were her literal dog family.

Not too long ago this year, my mom accidentally ran her over in the front yard. Our other terrier, Panda, has a bad habit of running around in front of vehicles trying to play with the other dogs. Because of Panda, we had lost another dog named Carmen in this same way. Now, due to Panda's ignorance with vehicles, her rough-housing with Keewii caused another tragedy.

That makes this make a little more sense: The dream started off nice; my fiance and I were at what I presumed to be a winter retreat resort place with snowy mountains and a lot of amusement attractions. We were riding a snowmobile together on this snowmobile track that was safe and close by, having lots of fun. We got hungry, and so decided to get something to eat.

Im not sure why a fancy place like that would have a Sonic eatery, but it did, so we decided on sonic. While on the snowmobile, we actually found a coupon of sorts that was 10 Sonic dollars--so we thought why not? Now, again I'm not sure why, but suddenly I noticed everything around had a bit of a circus theme to it. There were little circus animals running around, circus people, colors, posters, weird stuff. It didn't bother me at all until--while my fiance was off getting some more money Im guessing--a little dog came up to me.

The dog had the same coat as my little Keewii.

Now, fake memories began rushing to me. Somehow, I knew that Keewii had been in an accident. The accident caused her to have to lose a leg in order for her to survive. How she could have left my arms at that point and ended up as a circus dog, I have no idea, but she did, and I knew it. She'd been with these people for almost a year--according to my fake memories.

The horrific part? Not only was she missing a leg, but as I looked at her, one of her eyes were gone--a fake one hanging down from the eye socket like some sort of joke. Then, her other leg was gone, replaced by some sort of plastic pick. I didn't see much joy in her face, but she wouldn't leave my side, and was wagging her tail a little behind her.

I was mortified. I picked her up and demanded to see the owners of this circus, demanding their names and telling them how I had (for some dumb fuck reason) entrusted them with my dog. They couldn't look me in the eyes. From there, I simply broke down into tears holding my dog.

I woke up to my fiance bringing me breakfast. I felt bad, because I was crying the moment I woke up and couldn't eat for a little while. Eventually I could, then went to write this.

It's clear to me that there is still a huge part of me missing my dog Keewii. I had gotten a new dog (not to replace Keewii since I couldn't have her at my house anyway) for companionship at my house and she helps me not feel so alone, but she can never replace the feelings I had for Keewii. I hope to make new memories with Kyrin (our new miniature Australian Shepard) and form a bond just as close.

I don't have nightmares. I don't have dreams where I'm being hunted, or killed in a brutal manner. I don't even have semi-scary dreams. But this, to me, was a nightmare.

 Love your pets, they'll always love you.

RIP: Keewii

So, this dream really came out of absolute nowhere.

There's this overgrown guinea pig, like, almost like the ones you would see in the zoo, but not that big. It's evil, by the way. Somehow, while riding in a small truck this thing appears and...well it basically ate out one of my Achilles tendons. You know, the sensitive tendon right at the back of your foot? Yeah, it was hollowed out, or something. Though I didn't feel any pain, and there wasn't blood gushing out. Strange, right?

I could also still walk, which was also strange, but moving on we appeared in a room where we were to catch this Achilles tendon-eating rodent. It  seemed as though it was my brother John who came in and scooped it up in a black garbage bag. Before that, there was this other girl who tried to pet it, and it sort of put on that Tasmanian devil smile, you know what I'm talking about.

Afterwards the three of us hiked up a super steep, but short, hill back to the truck. We drove to a house, supposedly our home, where I found a pie I had left in an old school oven had burned. The oven was still hot, and had a glass front.

I guess our humane way of killing the rodent was to burn it, because we stuck it in the hot oven and turned it on. I watched the thing start to burn and cook to death, and seemingly explode in some places because there was stringy guts hanging from the oven racks and whatnot.

Minor details, not long after my mother had to change the grease rack on the oven, but didn't have to open the oven to do so.

The dream ended after that.

Not sure why, but I was very well rested when I woke up from this dream. Till next time, toodles~

So it's been, what, three years since I wrote a Dream Log? Yeah, that sounds about right. Haven't been on DA a whole lot until recently, and despite all of the dreams I had between now and then, I never got around to writing them. So, well, here's one.

:iconblackdivider1plz::iconblackdivider2plz::iconblackdivider3plz::iconblackdivider4plz::iconblackdivider5plz::iconblackdivider5plz::iconblackdivider5plz::iconblackdivider5plz::iconblackdivider5plz:

Date: 9-29-14

Night of, 9-29, very interesting dream. I don't remember too much of it, to be honest, because it's a little cloudy. Though, there is a definite feeling that I get from it that I can't get out of my head. It related to horses this time (which comes to no surprise since I was raised with them my entire life), but with a twist. For once I wasn't at a horse show, and the dream wasn't normal by any means.

Don't ask me how it got to this point, but I believe the horse was a dimensional jumper. Like, it could literally jump from dimension to dimension in a very small amount of time. I was very attached to this horse too, obviously, by how hysterical I was when it got hurt. How it got hurt, I'm not entirely sure, but I feel it had something to do with either running from something or making a bad jump, severely injuring himself. And I also feel like it was protecting me.

Extremely faint memories from the dream, but strong feelings. I really liked it. A dimensional jumping horse? Sounds pretty cool to me. I'm sure someone, somewhere, has already published this sort of idea. Would make for an interesting story, I think.

Till next time.

This past dream has encouraged me to start a Dream Log because it was just so crazy and random (along with many of my other dreams) that I couldn't resist writing it down. Therefore, I'm going to start writing them all down. Maybe it will be something interesting to read when I'm old and decrepit. :iconmeowlaplz:
